Captured live at The Movement Center in Portland, Oregon with a wonderful band, “Mahadeva” is based on the Hindustani raga Ahir Bhairav (अहीर भैरव). This raga is associated with Shiva and played in the very early morning, embodying the unique power of the dawn as a threshold between night and day.
